Faculty Recruitment

Ragon faculty positions, including the Early Independence Fellowship, are in collaboration with MIT, MGH or Harvard. Instructions for submission are included in the posting.

Early Independence Fellowship

The Ragon Early Independence Fellowship is a prestigious fellowship for outstanding graduate students or clinician-scientists who wish to establish their independent research program without traditional postdoctoral training. The program provides research funding, mentorship from senior faculty, and growth opportunities. The program offers a basic scientist track (PhD and MD/PhD applicants) and a clinician-research track (MD and MD/PhD applicants with ongoing clinical activities.) Competitive applicants should be collaborative, creative, have aligned research interests with the Ragon Institute, and enjoy working in a cross-disciplinary, mission-driven and diverse research environment.  More details about the application process can be found here: Ragon Early Independence Fellowship Posting.

Applications will open 10/21; please check back then. Questions are encouraged and should be sent to ragonfellows@mit.edu.

Faculty Positions

The Ragon Institute together with the Department of Biology at The Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), is seeking outstanding scientists for tenured or tenure-track faculty positions. In particular, we are looking for innovative scientists with expertise and interests in infectious diseases, immunology, and/or the human microbiome. The search is for a candidate to be hired at the assistant professor level; however, under special circumstances, a senior faculty appointment with tenure is possible. For more information, see MIT Bio Ragon Faculty Search Fall 2020.
