Ragon Grant Manager Alex Cusson has been recognized by the Partners of Excellence program for taking to heart the Partners HealthCare goal for all employees of “Excellence Every Day”.

In the three years that Alex has been a grant manager at the Ragon Institute, he has distinguished himself with a level of attention to detail and understanding. His calm, reasoned approach to guiding Principal Investigators through their grants application, award and spending process has been notable. He has proven himself to be a team mate with his faculty members, ensuring they properly allocate their funds to achieve their goals.

“Since joining the Ragon Institute, Alex has become an invaluable resource,” said Administrative Director, Kathleen Donnelly. “He is always willing to take the lead on new projects and has become our “go to” person for Ragon Core facility management and other key financial procedures.”

The 17th annual Partners in Excellence Awards Ceremony was held on April 22. The awards program recognizes exceptional Partners employees and teams in one of the following five categories: quality treatment and service, leadership and innovation, teamwork, operational efficiency and outstanding community contributions. Partners employees are nominated for this award by their colleagues and managers.
