The Ragon Institute is unique in that a large portion of its funding comes from private donors. Unlike funding from governmental agencies, these private, unrestricted funds allow scientists and educators to be innovative in their approach to research. It is from these bold risks that the greatest discoveries are made.
Making an outright gift to the Ragon Institute allows your donation to be put directly to use in the researching of an HIV vaccine. A gift of cash is the most common and convenient method of donating to the Ragon Institute.

Planned Giving
Endowed Funds designated to the Ragon Institute are carefully managed for growth, and will help the Institute in perpetuity. Donors often choose to make a contribution in the form of gifts that provide them and/or their beneficiary income for life. These may also serve as distinguished tributes to loved ones by bearing their names. A minimum of $100,000 is required to establish an endowed fund.
