Second Annual Ragon Scientific Advisory Board Meeting

During April 2011 the Ragon Scientific Advisory Board, along with the Ragon Steering Committee and faculty, attended the 2nd annual Scientific Advisory Board meeting.

Over the course of two days, Ragon investigators presented their research to the Board for comments and lively discussion.

Donors Terry and Susan Ragon also attended and presented their vision for the future for the Ragon Institute.

The board’s preliminary feedback has already proven to be invaluable in refining the Ragon Institute’s strategic plan, both scientifically and administratively. Over the coming weeks, the Board will formalize and present their final recommendations.

The Ragon Institute Scientific Advisory Board is comprised of 10 scientists, all leaders in their field. They are: Mark Davis PhD, Rafi Ahmed, PhD, Barton Haynes, MD, David Baltimore, PhD, Skip Virgin, MD, PhD, Eric Lander, PhD, Bette T. Korber, PhD, Juliana McElrath MD, PhD, Robert S. Langer Sc., and John J. Mekalanos, PhD.
